Anonymous said...: Geez, I'm seeing this 6 yrs after it was written so there's some additional knowledge as to just how sad this is. As an addict who said "hell yes" to rehab I can somewhat relate to her problem. I wasn't making an ass-load of money & dealing w/the BS of fame but I think it's safe to say that Amy had problems before fame. It's just sad that most everyone saw her & her problem as some kind of joke. In the long run, we saw that her addiction was no joke. Addiction is never a joke or a laughing matter, I think it's just easier for ppl to laugh it off than to face the horrifying reality of drug abuse. I would've been horrified if ppl had been following me around & taking my picture when I was actively using. I can assure you, that much like her picture, my picture wouldn't have been pretty! I know I've said a lot already but I don't want to be that person who rants & raves or preaches about something in the hopes of changing minds, so I'm gonna stop here. I was just shocked to see her picture after all this time. I hope you can look at her & be happy that it's not you in that picture. **Btw, I was searching for something related to the band Tool & ended up here...yeah, I'm confused too!**; August 18, 2014 at 3:40 AM
