Welcome aboard the show that never ends that we like to call Straight Up Sports! We're a group of kids in our mid 20's who love to talk sports. As we all are either from the New York area or living here now, most of this site will be focused on New York Sports, and given the current climate, the New York SUPER BOWL BOUND Giants. But in the same way that New York is a diverse community, Straight Up Sports is just as diverse. Actually, that's not true. We're mostly white guys except for an indian and a white chick. But we all have various rooting interests that range from the usual New York teams (Yankees, Mets, Giants, Knicks) to the Pittsburgh Black & Gold to the Red Sox to the Devils, and everything in between. Our main focus is sports, but our posts are going to be everything from solid Edge NFL Matchup analysis to the most irreverent sports discussion this side of Bill Simmons to whatever's going down in pop culture to simply whatever grinds our gears.
The good lord gave us blogs, and it is now time for Straight Up Sports to begin its reign of terror and rock out with our collective cocks out.
